A corporate communications professional with over seven years experience, Meagan Parker is an accomplished writer and is highly skilled in interpersonal communications, project management, communication planning, media relations, and special event organization.
Meagan is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and holds degrees in Communication Studies and Psychology. She has completed college courses in graphic and webpage design.
Meagan currently works as a Communications Specialist for Workplace Safety & Prevention Services – formerly Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA). In this position she plays a key role in the planning and implementation of the organization’s internal and external stakeholder communication efforts.
Prior to this, Meagan was employed with the Waterloo Region District School Board, Grand River Conservation Authority, Bird Packaging Ltd. and Cambridge Solutions Inc. in a variety of communication, outreach and strategic support roles.
